Biking Tour to Bazaleti Lake

To the north of Tbilisi, 72 km away there is Ananuri Castle located on the Aragvi River. It belongs to 17^th century with fortifications and towers enclosing two churches. Facades of the churches are furnished with interesting carvings and the interior features colorful frescoes.

Heading for Baleti Lake you pass by Dusheti. This town is situated at the foothills of the Greater Caucasus at elevation of 900 meters.

We have a picnic at the beach of Bazaleti Lake. It is distinguished by its spectacular surroundings and suitable location, just 60 km away from Tbilisi. The area housed a Medieval town and has become a legendary site. You can swim in the lake and the maximum depth is 7 meters.
