If you opt out to the remote Tushetian Mountains and are keen on seeing local lifestyle, visit Elisabed Ichilauri's Homestay. It provides all basic amenities you need for rest after having visited stunning surrounding areas.
The house is two-storied. Rooms are disposed on the first, as well as on the second floor. This family-run guesthouse takes care of your accommodation and food.
The property is closed from October until June, due to weather conditions - Tusheti region is snow-capped during the period. If you would like to book accommodation in Tusheti, please proceed with the booking procedures and your booking will be automatically saved in the system.
Facilities & Services
Guests can sit in the garden at the wooden table and wooden stumps that serve as chairs. The hostess cooks traditional local meals, gets you acquainted with typical Tushetian cheesecake ‘Kotori' (made of potato and cheese) and sheep's cheese. All the products of the dishes are organic, without fertilizers.
Should you like to have tours in the villages of the area, the family members will guide you and provide you with helpful information, full in-depth history, horses and cars.
