Enjoy white water rafting on the Aragvi River near Pasanauri. Take pleasure in the thrills of extreme adventure combined with spectacular views of the Ananuri Fortress and the lovely landscape. Aragvi river flows from the Caucasus Mountains and its choppy waves provide a good opportunity for rafting. The difficulty rating is between 2 - 2.5 and the duration is 1.5 hours.
Participants can visit the Ananuri Fortress, built in the 17th century; it has two churches wrapped into a fortification wall. The churches are attractive in terms of both architecture and carvings and offer breathtaking views of the surroundings.
Rafting Season ends in October and begins in April. So, if you are keen on rafting, mark your calendars for experiencing whitewater rafting in the Caucasus Mountains from April to October.
