The administration of the Vashlovani Protected Areas have noticed a group of young, local girls who are good at handicraft. The group is called Pesvebi which literally means roots into Georgian. The activity of the group corresponds to its name: they make pads and covers that are furnished by local, deeply-rooted Kizikian ornaments. By doing so, the group cherishes and livens up centuries-old traditions. The hand-made products serve as an example of local handicraft and can be seen at the information centre of Vashlovani Protected Areas. The fact that their activity is brought to the public inspires the group for greater achievements.
