First we stop at Ananuri Castle, on the Aragvi River. The 17th century monument consists of two churches that are wrapped in the fortification and towers. The facades furnished with ornamental carvings and the beautiful frescoed walls will definitely attract your attention.
On the way to Kazbegi, we stop at the Cross Pass that is distinguished with mineral springs that are coming out of earth, offering complete refreshment.
After arriving to Kazbegi, we hike to Gergeti Trinity Church. This 14th century small church is towering at 2100 meters. On the background of the church you see Mount Kazbeg, the third highest mountains in Georgia, offering an incredible view.
