They are ready to face the rain and sun, or hail and clouds. Nights come with gatherings at the fireplace, telling various stories and recalling legends. This event is a new experience, one of the best reflections of the local, Tushetian lifestyle. The cows and sheep are moved up the hills of Tusheti in summer, in order to make use of healthy greenery of the mountains and contribute well to the cattle's health. At the beginning of October snow comes to Tusheti. These conditions make the cattle's drive from Tusheti to the low Kakheti region by the end of September.
