This day Georgians celebrate Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The day itself is an embodiment of Georgian style of life: feasts full of delicious meals and elaborate toasts, polyphonic songs and amazing dances follow the liturgy that is held in the morning at Gergeti Trinity Church.
Farewell to rafting

End of rafting season is a lively festival. The day begins with rafting, as always but Georgian feast with diverse dishes, fresh Mtsvadi (barbecue) and Georgian wine gives the day the nuance of a festival.

Tbilisoba is a typical Georgian festival full of friendly smile, live music, diverse products. You are drawn to the stalls where aside baskets full of red grapes and various fruit you can see carpets, hats, socks and scarfs decorated with colorful ornaments.
