White-water Rafting in Georgia

We, Adventure Club Jomardi, are the pioneers of commercial white-water rafting in Georgia, Caucasus. Wild mountainous rivers of our country provide good opportunities for a range of rafting trips. Difficulty rates of the tour differ from easy to moderate and difficult, meeting requirements of beginners, amateurs and professionals.

There are following options for white-water rafting in Georgia:

- Rafting on the Pshavi’s Aragvi – an easy tour on the mountainous Aragvi River;

- Rafting on the Mtiuleti’s Aragvi – this is yet another easy rafting trip on the Aragvi;

- Rafting on the Mtkvari River – difficulty level is easy, going through the nice greenery of Mtkvari River

- Rafting on the Rioni – the tour consists of two challenging rafting trips on Rioni River.

Generally we open our rafting season in the end of April by a trip on Mtiuleti’s Aragvi, northeastern Georgia. The easy trip lets us feel the might of the mountainous river and the beauty of the mountainous nature. From June Pshavi’s Aragvi becomes more popular, as the water level decreases in Mtiuleti’s Aragvi. Rafting on the Mtkvari (western Georgia) can be conducted from July, the trip has an easy difficulty rate. If you would like to experience thrilling tour, try rafting on Rioni River, in western Georgia! The trip consists of two rafting tours which cover quite long distances.

Please Note: For our easy rafting trips, no special skills are required. Our instructors hold short trainings to the travellers before each rafting trip. All our rafting trips include instructor service, rafting equipment (helmets, jackets, shoes, paddles).
